FOREST SUN.

Mhhh...people keep cutting down our trees. I'm not talking about the odd log, but areas the size of Poland being ravaged every week. We need them to breathe and exist.

I breathe to live, I breathe to give
We hope for another day to see
We pray it won't happen to you and me
We make the machines to bring them down
One by one, one by one
We watch as they raze them to the ground
We stare but we do not make a sound

Leave us the forest sun
Leave us the forest sun
So when the day is done
We've got somewhere left to run
Leave us the forest sun
Leave us the forest sun
So when the day is done
We've got somewhere left to hide and play and run.

I'm free to leave, I'm free to be
Got eyes, got a voice to speak my thoughts
But they weep in silence as they fall
We smile as the tears coming rolling down
One by one, one by one.
In time we'll see how we've done them wrong
When days are as hot as they are long

Leave us the forest sun
Leave us the forest sun
So when the day is done
We've got somewhere left to run
Leave us the forest sun
Leave us the forest sun
So when the day is done
We've got somewhere left to hide and play and run.
